This course picks up where IMD 161 3D Graphics and Animation II leaves off and continues more in depth in 3ds Max. The focus will be on modeling and texturing for games. Creating, unwrapping, and texturing simple models will be practiced. High- and low-poly asset creation pipeline will be explored. Finally, students will model an asset that they choose, add materials and maps, create a scene, and animate the scene.
